Our Story
From one woman's frustration to a brand built for every woman living with hair loss.
All I Wanted Was One Hour
During my second pregnancy, I developed Alopecia Universalis — total hair loss, seemingly overnight. One hour where I wasn't thinking about my hair. One hour where I wasn't wondering if it was shifting, or if someone could tell, or what my future looked like.
When you lose your hair, the wig becomes everything. It's consuming in a way that's hard to describe.
I didn't want another thing to manage. I wanted something I could put on, that would stay on, that would look real — and then disappear from my mind entirely. So I looked at the one category of clothing that already solved this problem: performance apparel. The same comfort and movement I trusted in a great pair of leggings — that's what I wanted for hair.
That's what I built.
wHAIRables™
A word our customers gave us.
We didn't come up with "wHAIRables™" in a boardroom. We heard it from real conversations, over and over — the same word kept coming up: wearable.
"How do I actually wear this?" "Is this wearable all day?"
That became our north star. Hair that functions as beautifully as it looks — like a great pair of shoes, or your favorite leggings. Look real. Feel comfortable. Fit well. Most brands focus on just one. We built SPARX® to deliver all three.
We know the self-doubt. We know the discomfort.
We know the self-doubt. We know the discomfort.
That's exactly why we built something different — engineered from the ground up for women living with hair loss, not adapted from someone else's pattern.
Before SPARX®, I spent years helping other women navigate wig shopping — and I watched the same impossible choice play out again and again: spend thousands on something comfortable, or settle for something that looked fake and felt worse. Neither option was good enough.
This isn't about hiding. It's about getting your hour back. Then your day. Then your life.
Ready to feel like yourself again?
